龍小飛被認為是加拿大這一代中最出色的低音手之一，他擁有豐富的巡�A演出及錄音製作的經驗。他才藝橫溢，擅長彈奏的除了爵士樂外，對搖�憛B放克、拉丁到印度、非洲音樂等皆甚有心得。龍小飛先後灌錄過的唱片已過百五之數，廣告歌七十多首及十套電影配樂等。合作過的樂手包括有Joey Calderazzo, Jeff "Tain" Watts, James Gelfand, Jean-Pierre Zanella及Helmut Lipsky等。

在香港生活期間，他曾與張學友、奧利花紐頓莊、蘇永康、羅文、蔡琴、泰迪羅賓、包以正、陳潔靈、羅敏莊、DD Jackson、Scott Hamilton等樂手合作，更替杜麗莎等歌星作音樂總監。

Considered as one of the best Canadian bass player of its generation, Sylvain Gagnon has extensive international touring and recording experience. He is a virtuoso of jazz bass playing and has experience in music from many continents and styles ranging from rock to standard jazz, from Carnatic (classical music from South India) to African music and Chinese music, from funk to Latin music, from solo to big band.

His technical abilities and musical sense have helped him build a strong reputation as a leader and as a side man.

Sylvain has recorded over 150 albums with musicians such as Joey Calderazzo, Jeff "Tain" Watts, James Gelfand, Jean-Pierre Zanella, Helmut Lipsky etc., played on over 70 jingles, 10 movie soundtracks, and toured internationally with his own band and many internationally acclaimed musicians. He also appeared in many movies, television series and talk shows as a musician.
